Anyone know any good indie/awesome UI component libraries?

Anyone know any good indie/awesome UI component libraries? I have a tone of ideas but am in need of some really decent indie themed UI components so that and create consistency among products?

I almost never see this mentioned anywhere but Ant Design is another one. https://ant.design/
It's a design system for React. They also have a Vue version. It's based in China with some of the biggest players in China using it. Some of the website is in Chinese but the components have good translations and I've used it and like it.

I've used ant-design and I can vouch for it. They also have an angular version. I can say that they offer a lot of useful components and they also have a very intuitive API.

Not sure what you mean with indie but take a look at https://tailwindui.com

I love tailwind and am looking to pick up tailwindUI for a re-write I’m about to start! It’s super easy to make changes, I love it!

Tailwind is just a fresh breeze. I really really enjoy the concept of utilities driven CSS. It makes my workflow so much easier.

@DennisKluge I have taken a look at it! Yet to properly use it but I have heard good things and that is one framework I am contemplating

It's an opinionated fresh breeze. Something which gives enough structure without limiting freedom.

If you'd like I can give you a quick remote walkthrough next week. Tailwind is really easy to understand.

If you're building with React defintely check out material-ui.com and react-bootstrap.github.io. Tailwind UI is beautiful, but keep in mind they aren't React components and you'll need to wire up state and logic yourself. Lastly, if you're open to using a pre-built starter/boilerplate you may like divjoy.com (disclaimer: my project).

I used material-ui in two projects so far and I'm pretty happy witht he current state of the library, it's a lot better than it was a few years agon.

came here to mention react-bootstrap. Very straightforward and can be adapted easily.

I also used material UI for my product.

I don't think that counts as "indie", but I have used https://material.io/ recently and it was great!

I have used material design, do like it but fancy a change! :) Cheers for the recommendation though

    I like Semantic UI.

If you are considerate about accessiblity then go for https://chakra-ui.com/ it's really good!

Big fan of tailwindcss.com and element.eleme.io (Vue) at the moment. getuikit.com also looks interesting.

If you're going to use Vue, I can highly recommend Vuetify. You can theme it easily and it offers a great selection of components, perfect for shipping MVPs quickly :)

Atlassian has a nice library with complex components that you can use: https://atlaskit.atlassian.com/packages

Bulma.io has a number of good components built in. I find it a good base to build my own library on

A bit of a plug, but you may also want to check out a17t — it’s designed to integrate with Tailwind, but provides clean core interface elements so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. The docs are at https://a17t.miles.land

Hi, I use PrimeNG for Angular, amazing, have a lot of controls than Material and more properties, they are a part of PrimeFaces which covers Angular, React, Vue and Java.

    You can check @ https://www.primefaces.org/

I also don't know what you mean by Indie. A good and comprehensive UI component suite is a huge endeavour.

I'm a big fan of DevExtreme (https://js.devexpress.com) from DevExpress. The company targets the corporate market, which is why you'll never see it mentioned here. I've used it at a couple of companies I've worked for and on some of my own projects.

It's updated every couple of months, has code samples for every component for React, Angular, Vue and jQuery. Their support team is very active and respond withing 24 hours to any questions. Bugs are fixed after you report them. Everything you tend not to get with free open source components.

Very true, I am more looking for a set of pre-built components, preferably react based, trying to see if there any hidden gems :)
