Anyone offer a build your MVP and teach as a service?
Hi - Im interested in building a desktop MVP based off VueJS and electron. This would probably take me months of learning to do (Im a java backend developer) and would then prob not follow the best design patterns and principals and would eventually need to be replaced :(
Im interested in fast-tracking this by specifying a prototype and getting someone to implement this in the first place, but also provide ongoing teaching on how everything fits together and works, nuances of the frameworks, how the code can be reused and expanded, etc.
Im prepared to pay for this - but just paying for something that is thrown over the wall with no idea how to maintain and expand is a waste of money IMHO.
This is combining the concepts of "agency as a service" and e-learning into one tailored custom product probably with an ongoing monthly retainer fee. Thoughts - anyone offer this already ?
How is it different from hiring an outsourcing firm? There are plenty of them. Or you can find individuals on Fivver.
The thing that is different is the teaching element, not sure if anyone offers that. So you can understand, maintain and extend the code that has been developed. As well as rapidly getting you up to speed on new technologies without having to do unfocussed / irrelevant tutorials.
IMHO its a mistake for an indie hacker to pay a third party to develop code which they have no understanding of. That code will soon become useless over time.
