Anyone try roadside signs for publicity?

Hi,

I am trying different channels for exposure. One that I am now considering is small signs by the roadside. You see the political little signs in the USA now saying 'Vote for XX' - similar to this.

One problem I see is that my product https://toonclip.com is an online animation editor and is not 'a local product', so not sure about the effectiveness of this method.

Anyone, experiment with this? Any feedback?

Ok. Finished reading the whole thing. He used it in a very different context. His methods dont sit well with me.

It is hard to get people to go from offline to online. Online to online is much easier. People are already sitting at their computers, click a link, and go directly to your site.

If a bunch of people are driving and see your sign, they will have to remember what it said, take out their phones, type in the url, and then they will be at your site.

Personally, I see a lot of signs while driving on buses, buildings, and billboards and think "I should look into that." Then I arrive at my destination and go about my business 99% of the time. Maybe you have experienced this as well?

Signs work for very broad things, like restaurants. Much harder with niche things.

Just my opinion and I could definitely be wrong. :)

You have a point. The only advantage I see is online is very saturated. So I wanted to try offline. Anyway I will try a little. Doesn't hurt.
