Hello everyone!
I'm an entrepreneur and I'm always looking for ways to grow my business. One strategy that I'm considering is referral software (example: Give $20, Get $20 type of thing), and I was wondering if any of you have had experience using referral marketing software? If so, I'd love to hear about your experience. Specifically, I'm interested in knowing how much of an impact the software had on your business.
Did you see a significant increase in referrals and/or sales after implementing the software? Were there any challenges or drawbacks that you encountered?
I'm always looking for ways to learn from other entrepreneurs, so I'd really appreciate any insights you can share. Thank you in advance!
I don't understand your "Give $20, Get $20" thing. Are you looking for a referral or an affiliate solution?
I don't have any experience yet, but I am planning to implement both: a referral system for internal users and an affiliate for "influencers". I have seen https://reflio.com/ as a preferred service on Twitter. It integrates with Stripe, so easy/fast to use, and it is also open source and built in public. By the way, I haven't heard any success stories from indie hackers, so maybe this method doesn't even work.
Both referral and affiliate. If a product is $200, when Customer A sends the link to Potential Customer B it costs $180, and then 20 of that purchase goes back to Customer A. Business gets $160. Give 20 get 20!
Thanks I'll check out reflio.
Since I sold transferrable digital products and the payment methods were anonymous, I wasn't able to put into place a really rewarding referral program for my customers. The customers would just refer themselves by creating a second account. I ended up only rewarding customers for referrals of products where I had a high profit margin.
