In my day job or event future day job there's not many company willing to invest in tool like firebase, they rather to have frontend and backend team. but I'm starting to aware of the trap of thinking busy or writing a lot of code is being productive, it's not true. If I allow myself to still think like a coder doing a day job after work on my side project, I probably chasing the wind doing serverless, docker k8s and solving typescript issue on github.. so I wonder anyone here find firebase super useful for side project?
Thanks!
Indie Hackers is on Firebase.
I thought they've migrated to something else? otherwise why would they need render.com?
Firebase offers many services, but I think their database is a one stop drop in to any node or javascript app. I havent had a database in about 10 years because of them
