Anyone willing to curb fake news? Open source make it if you can!

Here is what you do!

You train an AI to understand the tone, vocab, structure, pattern, phrasing of the information & further break them into 12+1 subtypes:

  • CLICKBAIT
  • FACTUAL MISTAKE
  • MADE UP
  • AGENDA
  • ADVERTISEMENTS DISGUISED AS NEWS
  • PARTIALLY FAKE
  • COMPLETELY FAKE
  • MISLEADING
  • CHAOTIC
  • RIOTOUS
  • UNOFFICIAL SOURCE
  • HATE SPEECH
  • NONE

If its none, its a go ahead, but what if it fits into any of the above 12? Here use the OTP registering method and notify a deadly bug in the corner of the content.

How do I integrate it with Whatsapp? try using the same method but make sure you don't violate any privacy law. Let me know what do you think to integrate with Whatsapp.

Apart from Whatsapp it will work with any app or website.
You can also try to make a website where the user can run his content to examine the facts

Perfection required? nope! Only 35% efficiency will be enough. Content on a users phone with 35% same content which was registered fake will notify the user.

If the above 12 subtypes are stringent you can play around with it.

Can I make money with this? use ur brain if I was there I would have embedded a buy me a coffee or pizza or so.

Difficulty rating 7.

Go figure.

Also, let me know the flaws of this idea.

I like the idea. Not sure how easy it would be to train an AI for this as we humans struggle to differentiate between fake news subtypes ourselves (sometimes we can't even tell what's fake news and what isn't). But something like this would be really incredible to have.

so when news is fake or a rumour, it is kind of understandable by how its is paraphrased, how rich the vocab is, active-passive voice misuse. The real question is how do we differentiate from a satire & COmplete fake news ? how do we diff between a joke or just advice.

Yes, train it is a job at hand however all we need is the content (a lot of it), and start training it.

Btw if only I had to share news from a credible site I will not copy and paste, I will send you a link.

      : )
