I'm curious if you guys are building something new at the moment and using any AI technology on top of it. If you have an existing project with the help of AI share it too!
I was planning to use AI for iconwell.io, but turned out it was easier to handle with a set of rules instead (although people still ask whether it uses any AI under the hood)
Its crazy the amount of people who market there product as "AI" though, who also just use a series of rules, so if I can lower my ethics a bit, I sure would love to add that to the landing page 😂
Real jealous of all the other products getting to play around with that stuff though
Respect for keeping your integrity!
Lol I know that feeling.
AI is a buzzword now. I honestly don't see any issues using it if your "AI" is just a complex ruleset, as long as it feels intelligent to your end user.
They don't necessarily know (much less care) about how your software is implemented, and I don't think they'd be angry if they found out you didn't actually implement a true NN.
fair points!
Been working on Veloit AI https://beta.veloitai.tech which focuses on simplifying Artificial intelligence for devs and no-code devs!
Veloit AI can help you integrate AI in your applications without any need to code an AI from scratch it's an API that you can integrate right away, Literally simplifying AI to API!
It is capable of solving problems based on Classification, Regression and forecasting hence helping you leverage you applications especially no-code apps.
this is dope
Thanks. Hope it helps no-code devs!
I am building http://ai2sql.io .With AI2sql , you can write SQL queries in plain English.
That's a really cool idea!
Thank you so much! Please let me know if you have any feedback/comments!
I plan to use it in a few places in https://www.shopme.bio. Really most of my goals to use AI/ML is for improving customer experience, supplementing my product or automation. AI is not necessarily the core of the value add of my product itself. But to summarize, these are the few areas i am looking to incorporate:
content moderation- want to make sure that no one is uploading profile photos that are too spicy. Might also look into detecting if anyone is trying to impersonate others (i.e., celebrity detection).
object labeling- I want to automatically label and categorize products people add. This is more of an automation thing/ UX improvement than anything else.
recommendation- more long term i hope to incorporate a product recommendation system for my users. This is still a bit of a toss up that i am weighing to get a feel for how much this is wanted vs how much effort it would take to incorporate.
I built everything on AWS so i am planning to handle most of the lifting here with Rekognition since its plug and play, serverless and cheap but if anyone has recommendations on something better im all ears.

Wow, this sounds like a really good business idea! Sent you an email.
That's a cool idea! Could you describe how AI will help workflow to either you or the users?
Absolutely. My startup, Nemo, aims to understand what people mean on Zoom meetings (via asr, computer vision, platform metadata) and surfaces that in useful ways afterwards. We're currently using Nemo in our latest product, JumpOn.io. JumpOn helps Slack-based remote teams start + discover micro video discussions in the gaps between regular meetings.
I was building a video highlight generator for a specific MOBA game with AI. However, the up front cost for renting a decent GPU instance was a bit costly for me. Especially if I were to upscale the service.
Does integrating with GPT-3 count? 😬
Working on a tool to help Repurpose and Distribute marketing content: https://byautomata.io
I think AI based SaaS is going to have its heyday, although it might not be advertised as such. Predominately with new tools created by openAI, it's easier and cheaper than ever to leverage NLP and image generation.
