Hey all,
APId is an API uptime and reliability monitor. We offer a self managed version everyone can use as either CLI or docker image to test your APIs.
Besides the CLI, we are working on providing a cloud offering (still work in progress) to let you run your tests and monitor your API worldwide.
We just redesigned our landing page and documentation ad we'd like to get some feedback. Our main concern is if we are correctly conveying what products and services we have to offer!
The landing page can be found at https://www.getapid.com
Thanks!
I am a full-stack dev and was looking for a similar thing- the API testing space.
Your landing page caught my attention immediately, but the more time I spent the more confused I got! (Which should not happen right?)
I guess it's because you're doing multiple things and 'selling' multiple things on the landing page. Eg. You do so many things- uptime, reliability, testing, then cool integrations into CI pipelines. I would say simplify and sell one thing (or at most two). Recognize your core offering and then make everything an added feature/bonus thing.
Based on what I can grasp, I think your core offering is TESTING (UPTIME is not mutually exclusive though- it's also a kind of testing after all).
I'd make the word count lower on the load screen-
"Why just check for 200’s when you can model complex customer flows and monitor realtime performance? "
Then two bullet items: * Cloud-based (so it's 24x7) * Get notifications
Add more padding for better sectioning of the entire page.
ps: I only gave negative feedbacks so that I could be of some help. Overall exciting and great work :)
Thank you for the amazing (I wouldn't say negative at all, but rather constructive) feedback!
We've reworked the landing page yet again, hopefully this time it will be easier to understand the purpose.
