App design feedback wanted

Hi everyone,

As my weekend project I’m working on a fun little ios/android app that helps you reconnect with your favorite people. Although I’m fairly happy with how thing shave turned out so far, I’m not a skilled designer by any means. Currently hit a bit of a brick wall in terms of how to further improve it, so looking for concrete suggestions on how I could improve.
