App feedback - I just launched Vooiced!

Hi everyone, I've just launched Vooiced v1. Vooiced is the place to find curated voices from around the world to keep you in the loop about current affairs.

    Fantastic execution @igitresethard

    I really like the design. I think you're just missing a cool logo and an accent color (say text or those hashtags, or even for the play button). Well done!

    I'm currently [improving my website] too, would be awesome to hear your advice!

      Hey @felix12777 Thanks for feedback! I've kept the logo away from the web app to save space - and for it to resemble an actual app! Great idea on the accent color, will give that more thought! What's your website?

          This is an awesome idea @felix12777! Are you tracking stats? Would be interested to hear how many startups are relying on it. I would also add a way for them to give you feedback!

            Yes I do. Basic GA and bitly. I’m about to create a one-month milestone actually. Keep you posted.

    Hey Wisani,
    Few notes -

    • Having a navigation bar will be great! with the logo, search function, you could as well, categorised them, by industry, speaker, etc., and a contribute button, link to social media channels as well. For social media, you could have a static image of the speaker and the audio playing in the background. Just an idea.. all of these posts with the CTA, want to listen audios like these everyday? Subscribe and you will have them straight in your Inbox everyday.
    • You could as well have a subscription and send an email out with the audio of the day?
    • Have you thought of creating a channel on Spotify and having these saved there as well?

      Hey @SebaMarghella thanks for the feedback! Great suggestions! Added a search bar and some tag categorisation. Also made it more social so you can follow speakers.

      Super idea re: the social media, will definitely do something like that. Will also think of a mailer - what software do you recommend for mailing lists? I've used Mailchimp, but quite unhappy with it.

      Will also think of the Spotify route once I have more users and voices.
