App not working on Pixel 3a

My CTO is working on our first MVP.

He sent me a download link to the app.

I downloaded, launched and only get the red screen (attached).

It works on his android but not my Pixel 3a.

Does anyone know why and how to solve this?
(I am sorry I am not tech founder, so I know nothing about tech terms..)
