AppleTV tvOS testing with TestingBot

We’ve just shipped something pretty exciting —
TestingBot now supports automated testing on real Apple TV 4K devices 🎉

If you’re building a tvOS app (streaming, fitness, gaming, etc.), you can now run Appium tests directly on physical Apple TVs in the TestingBot cloud.
Each test runs on a real device and includes logs, screenshots and a full video recording of the session.

How it works:

1. Upload your .ipa tvOS app to TestingBot Storage

2. Run an Appium test script (same syntax you use for iOS or Android)

3. Watch your test execute on a real Apple TV 4K and get results in seconds

We started with Apple TV 4K on tvOS 17, with more Smart TV platforms coming soon!
