Are all analytic tools actually good enough for landing pages?

Hi fellow indiedevs!

My name is Aleks.

Right now I am all in building an analytic tool for landing pages that can actually show and tell why your conversations are not good enough and most important to give you suggestions how to improve and get better results.

The problem:
Landing page is not an average page but a long piece of information if a big scroll so basically having only average information like time spent and and maybe some clicks if you set up tracking is not enough to understand how your landing page performs. Right?

The solution:
The idea is simple: track metrics by section, not just by page. This way, we can see the time spent on each section, the clicks within each section, and—most importantly—where people drop off.

This information can reveal a lot about what’s working and what isn’t.

Another key point: for landing pages, day-to-day timing isn’t as important as comparing different versions. Seeing stats by section across versions is much more valuable.

Finally, the tool can take all this information and actually suggest what to improve and how to improve it.

What do you think? Would you give such tool a try?
