Are Amazon gift cards appropriate birthday gifts for business associates?
Looking for an easy way to give birthday presents to many businesses associates once a year on their birthdays.
It would include a personal message on the included gift card.

I'd always be happy with an Amazon gift card, even if I question some ethics around the existence and dominance of Amazon.
If they are your associates and you know them well, more niche vouchers like @owelcodes suggests is always a nice gesture.
That's what I asked from my wife and kids. LOL. Seriously.
Because my other answer will be "I don't know. I don't need anything."
For business associates, I think it would help if you can know some of their hobbies. Say, one is into woodworking, give him Home Depot gift card. If one is an amateur cook, perhaps a gift card to Williams Sonoma. If one is into camping trips, get an REI gift card. If one loves books, then Amazon gift card.
