Are Blogcasts the new Podcasts?

Hey Everyone,
I'm building an app to scratch a personal itch of mine. My app will use text to speech to narrate all the articles in my reading list of blogs I follow and interesting articles using modern AI-enabled Text-to-Speech.

While developing it, an idea popped to my mind. I could allow authors to create audio playlists for their blogs and share the links so readers can binge listen like we binge-watch on Netflix. Or even Subscribe to your feed like Youtube. Practically turning your blog into an Audio Podcast.

If you are a blogger, does this sound like something you would like for your own blog?

For readers, does the idea of a blog playlist or subscribing to a blogs Audio version sound appealing? Think RSS feed for Audio.
