Are cold email marketing campaigns worth it?

It works but if you're sending templated emails without building proper lists you're going to have poor results. You need to balance quality with quantity.

I've booked hundreds of meetings over the years with cold email. But it was for sales purposes, not to get someone to sign up for a product. However, if you're an early stage startup you might want to have meetings even at 50/Month

As far as getting quality "lists", that's by far the easiest part of the process.

From my experience (I run a Cold Email Agency in Barcelona), when your pricing is low like in your case, is better to do content marketing or email marketing instead of cold email for some reasons:

1. The goal when cold emailling is to get on a call with the prospect, so assuming you will have a lot of new clients, will it be efficient to do a 30 minutes call with every new client that's gonna pay you 50$ a month? Probably not.

2.Cold Email, especially when it's done properly, has a cost per lead higher that your pricing so in your case, I personally think It would't be the best option.

So, my advice here is to create free valuable content in order to make your ICP suscribe to your own email list.

With this list, doing email marketing it's a really good option to get new clients for your B2B SAAS.

Just depends on if it works or not. Content marketing is usually pretty good.
