Are Referrals a good idea?

Hey, I've been working on a website for referrals called https://refer.directory/

And I was wondering, is something that you as an indiehacker think is a good idea?

I was thinking about expanding a little bit and growing the product to be an "Ad Network" but for referral.

Is that something that it makes sense for you?
