Hey everyone,
I’ve been building something called TruthLens, and I’d really value feedback from people here who think deeply about products.

Lately I’ve been stuck on one question:
If AI content becomes indistinguishable from human content… does “authenticity” still matter?
What I’m building (long-term vision)
I’m not trying to build just another AI detection tool.
I’m working toward a “proof-of-human” layer for the internet — a way to make it easier to trust content again.
The idea is:
Not just detecting AI-generated content
But enabling verifiable human-created content
For example:
Attaching authenticity signals at the time of creation
Exploring things like camera/video-based proof of real presence
Building a system where content can carry trust, not just information
What exists right now
Basic AI-content detection
Early trust signals
This is just a starting point — not the final product.
The core problem I’m trying to solve
We’re moving into a world where:
Content can be generated at scale
It’s getting harder to tell what’s real
And trust is slowly eroding
Where this might actually matter (my current thinking)
Hiring → knowing if work/portfolios are actually yours
Personal writing → creators wanting to prove “this came from me”
News / media → trust in what’s real vs generated
Online identity → proving presence, not just output
But I’m not sure if these are real problems people feel today — or just future concerns.
Where I need clarity
I don’t want this to become something that sounds important but isn’t used.
So I’d really value honest input:
Do you actually care about proving content is human-made?
In what situations would this matter most?
Would you ever use a tool to prove your own content is real?
What would make something like this genuinely useful in your workflow?
I feel strongly about this direction, but I’m still figuring out what it should become.
Brutal honesty is welcome.
I know a few indie hackers and early-stage founders who are deep thinkers about product and quite concerned with content authenticity. If it helps, they'd probably be open to answering some questions for you for free.
Really appreciate that — I’d genuinely love to hear their perspectives.
I think the thing I’m struggling with most right now is figuring out where “proof of human authenticity” actually becomes valuable enough for people to care consistently, instead of it just sounding philosophically important.
I’d especially love insights on:
Still exploring the space deeply, so I’m very open to honest criticism too.
Thanks again for reaching out.
