Are you a crypto enthusiast? Maybe you can help me with that question

Why do you think blockchain-based P2P micro-mobility platforms are failing?

These are solutions in a space that requires network effects (two sided marketplace). Standing up businesses in these spaces are difficult because you need both sides to be participating. They require:

    • large amount of marketing spend. this won't happen without a intermediary taking a cut.
    • likely large amount of money to attract new users and drivers with incentives and discounts, for Uber etc it's venture capital. Uber started with a large amount of cash and bled money for a long time.
    • ease of adoption for the general public. there needs to be a fast and easy way to pay for the service. crypto is just too complicated for someone needing a ride.

I'd suggest these solutions focus on a specific location/market to drive some adoption first, and work out the issues with onboarding new customers.
