Hi there fellow photographer,
Do you struggle when choosing which photos to retouch with your client?
Does the selection process take way too many emails and phone calls?
Do you wish there was a simpler way to send over the final high-res photos?
So did we.
That's why we created an app that solves all of this. And makes the photo-proofing and delivery process painless.
So that you can focus on what you love doing -> photographing. ❤️
We're currently in beta and would be very excited to hear your thoughts about our app. We will listen to your feedback and further develop the app based on it.
You actually have an opportunity to help us create your favorite tool! :)
Try it out using the link below, it's of course completely free.
https://www.pick.photo/
If you'd like to, you can then provide your feedback directly in the app or simply reach out to me! :)
Best,
Great idea! I am a commercial photographer shooting lifestyle content. Whenever I have a periodic headshot project or take photos for family members, I wish there was a tool like this. I actually whipped one up this morning on Softr and Airtable for personal use, so I could get selects from a family member. Keep it up! I think there's a hole in the market for this.
Thank you for your insight!
That's actually very smart what you did with Softr & Airtable! So you basically created a gallery out of your database in Airtable, right? That should solve the problem for lower scale projects, for sure. Really love what you can do with no-code tools nowadays.
If you've got the time and would like to try Pick.Photo, as I mentioned already it's free and we'd very much appreciate your feedback :) I think the added value is in the automated communication and the simple delivery of the final high-res photos. But very curious to see what the actual users will say! :)
So thanks again for joining in on the conversation.
Thanks! I only spent a couple hours on it yesterday so I just got a gallery built with the ability for a client to select and leave retouching requests on the images.
I'll check out Pick Photo when I have more headshot/portrait deliveries to manage! Just a heads up the without the "www" it's directing to Mono, a custom keyboard website.
Cool! Now I'm even more curious to hear your thoughts on Pick.Photo! Ping me once you get the chance to check it out. And let me know if I can somehow return the favor!
Thanks a lot for the heads up! We're in the process of migrating the domains and apparently, the keyboard one stayed active. We're working on fixing it.
Tell us what you think & be as brutally honest as you can be😅
You've got our blessing 😅
Starting around earlier today, we are live! I put forth an objective to construct and send off our MVP in less than a month and it feels perfect to meet that timing. We're actually missing a ton of highlights that I intend to add throughout the following couple of weeks, however the center usefulness to interface performers photographer and picture takers is for the most part present. Following up, "single-player" mode for picture takers so the help is as yet significant for them while I gain some decent forward momentum on the interest side of the commercial center
Nice to meet you. I am also developing and image editing tool.
I plan to have online version as well as a Chrome plugin.
I plan to have an API too. Now the tool is called Photoveda but website is work in progress.
Wishing you lots of luck with your product!
