Guys, I'm going to throw this one really honestly, as I don't see any way around it (please prove me wrong in the comments if you believe differently).
I've been developing a new WordPress plugin and from what I noticed the market is extremely difficult to penetrate.
If you're a WordPress professional building websites, or know someone that is, I'd like to pitch you my plugin. It has a free version too, so no heavy strings attached.
I spent many, many years in the space before moving into Rails. I have built and sold a business in the space. https://wptavern.com/aesop-interactive-llc-acquired-by-anonymous-buyer
By now I'm sure that market is completely over-satured, but there's always room for quality plugins that solve real problems. Freemium business models work the best.
It seems to me that the only thing you lack is marketing skills, i work mostly with wix, but if your product is good, you need only to show the right people, generate leads, then call those people and close. or perhaps make an webinar to autosell if its a low prized pluggin.
Or you could also create a free version and spread then with ads.
