Are you building your online audience?
I'm wondering if you're building an online audience guys.
I started to build my Twitter audience last year at the end of February.
Currently, I have 58K+ followers which is great and I would like to go to other social media platforms like Instagram.
I found this approach great because of a few factors:

It's much easier to validate your idea

You get feedback right away
-
You get supporters for the project in its early stage
-
You don't have to add features nobody requires.
I'm 100% focused on Twitter
I've tried LinkedIn and Instagram in the past, but even though I grew a good size audience on those platforms, nothing compares to the experience of networking on Twitter.

It feels like the only people active on Linkedin are consultants/recruiters. Actual customers do not seem to be active there at all.
I am surprised Insta did not work for you. If I may ask what kind of audience did you build on Insta?
BTW just checked your Twitter, interesting product you have. I have been looking for an affordable SEO tool. Will have to give it a try.
Honestly, I did not have a strategy for Instagram, maybe that was the problem.

I agree with you. Virtually everything can benefit from having an audience somewhere. For me the best place is Twitter. I've started being active on there this month and have already been seeing some results.

Failing to build one mostly. I find Reddit much easier to get into than Twitter. I don't know if making popular posts on Reddit really translates into a following though. On the other hand some communities are open to anyone asking for feedback or offering a product. So I'm not sure Twitter is the best place for that anyway?
Reddit is mostly anonymous without any strong connections between people. Twitter is much more about stronger connections and you get much more support from the community.

I'm focusing on building an audience on Linkedin. However I'm mainly relying on LinkedIn's groups and communities, it allows you to segment your audience.

I agree, the community should be the ultimate vote to understand if your product:m/content is satisfying their needs or if it is just another brick in the wall.
