Are you familiar with the term “microcopy”?

The term "microcopy" refers to tiny bits of copy found on websites and mobile apps.

This is the text that appears on buttons, navigational and transactional elements.

These short sentences:

  • tells the user what to do
  • addresses user concerns
  • provides context to a situation

Creating the right microcopy is essential for a great user experience.

We are aware of this and have recognized a small opportunity for improvement.

In the example, only the "Magnifier" icon is displayed on the red search button.

In the second image, we replaced the icon with the "Search Now" microcopy.

It tells the user what to do, and includes a CTA to improve conversion.

You can only create a successful product with these kinds of small changes.
