Yes I had an idea for an AR startup about 5 years ago. I got too busy and never pursued it. I can share my old business plan here. I’m really surprised that the space is not taking off.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! There have certainly been lots of improvements in the mobile AR technology. Most the investment and ROI is in industry at the moment (like your John Deer case). Still few success stories in the consumer space outside of snapchat/instagram filters
Ya I would agree with that statement. For me personally I like the B2B use cases more. AR on the consumer side still seems to be a solution looking for a problem.
I’ve been following Light Form since they started. They’re definitely leading the B2B AR space, and have done some really cool things.

I've seen some success with instgram influencers using AR filters for branding. Not sure if thats a dimension you're interested in pursuing
