Are you satisfied with current screen recording tools?

I was building a screencast creation tool after seeing some complaints and finding no solution on google. But now, after more research, I discovered some companies that are doing what I planned to do. So, why not ask my indie fellows for some help?

My question is: are you satisfied with the screencast softwares out there that offers ways to create screen recording and video editing in order to create tutorials for your website users?

Do you think it is a good idea to pursue or are people usually not that interested in paying for this type of service? And before people say it, yes, I'm planning to create a product that differs from others.
