I assume someone just wanted to see our product, Churndler, as a registered user, but whoever you are, you made me laugh :)
What do you think of fake users who just want to see the product? Does it imply that the landing page is not well communicated? or that the landing page triggers curiosity?
I would suggest,
• Showing what they will get immediately on the home page, even in the hero section.
• Making email optional and telling them what would their email get them upfront.
I do these for needgap, of course each product is different but I think above pointers can be applied to most if not all.
