Are you using AI to build your startup?
Hey folks, me and my partner recently launched an AI SaaS Dev Kit (https://astroship.ai).
We think AI can be applied to every part of making a SaaS and we want to go deep in helping people automate everything from sales to moderation, and content generation.
We managed to get some initial customers through Google Ads and are continuing to build.
I’m curious if folks are already using AI (whether it’s text, code, audio, video, image generation) in their SaaS today.
At the moment we’re going deep on text, but are curious about problems we can solve for people in other domains.

as an indiehacker I feel like AI is super necessary to help minimize context switching. I run a saas as a solo and need to handling marketing, sales, dev by myself, and switching back and forth constantly can make me feel less productive. if AI can be generating marketing plans, outreach for sales, etc I can focus on dev which is a massive help
This is great feedback. I feel the same way, context switching between coding, marketing, sales, support is a massive productivity killer.
For marketing plans, I think you can get pretty far using ChatGPT 4.
For sales outreach, I think you can automate a lot. What channels do you use?
mostly just linkedin outreach using something like fullenrich
Very cool. Reached out to you via Twitter to learn more about the pain points. It sounds like you have a handle on prospecting and the pain point is engaging with prospects. With some prompt engineering and the right model, I think you can automate a lot of that.
Absolutely! I used it to build and launch my product. I'm a software engineer with 5 years of experience and I use it almost every day for writing code, design, and a bit of marketing.
I especially love using it to generate code. I can easily fix any mistakes it makes and I use all the time I save on other areas that generate value.

I've been meaning to checkout v0dev! Have not used Github Copilot at all, ChatGPT 3.5 seems fine for my needs
