article about podcasts + intro
Hi IH community.
I've been a fan of the site for some time and have been lurking around the forums. I'm not a real coder so I didn't feel that I could contribute. (I dabble in coding and would love to get a bit further along that journey.)
I wrote a blog post about podcasts for entrepreneurs and the IH podcast is included. It's already one of the best podcasts out there on the subject. Courtland encouraged me to share the article here and I hope it's useful to someone. It's also an MVP of sorts as I plan to add to it over time, and go more in depth.
Sometimes it's better to get a post out there and build on it. What do you guys think of that approach? Similar to how an app might evolve.

Hi Keith! Thanks for joining and sharing. Totally cool that you aren't a programmer – about 20% of the people I've interviewed don't code either :-D
I'm pretty new to content creation myself, but my biggest tip is to focus on what you know and what you're interested in. And ideally it'll be at least somewhat complex, so people can learn from what you're doing, and so you can consistently put out content.
It's okay if you aren't an expert, because if you spend a few hours/days/weeks reading about something then you'll have more info than 80% of the population, which all you need to be useful and informative.
I think your idea of doing MVP articles is a good one. Write valuable things and see how much distribution you can get. Ideally you'll hit on something good, and from there I recommend setting up a simple mailing list so you can start growing your audience.
