Hello,
I validated a new business idea and already have the organic traffic.
However, I'm already working on 2 businesses and stretched thin (solo-founder). I'm thinking that the right thing to do would be to outsource the dev of this one. But as a dev, I find myself having a lot of resistance to not do it myself.
First I would have to find a dev shop I feel good handing over to. Does anyone have a dev shop to recommend? I need one that is working with LAMP, Symfony 5, and react. This is the stack I know and I want to be able to jump in if needed.
And can anyone relate following this path and being happy with that decision?
Hi François,
Being a Dev also I can relate with your struggle.
I have so many business ideias that I could have launched at least 10 startups this year if I would outsourced that development.
I wish I could give you suggestions but I have the same issue, it's difficult to detach. But at the same time I would say, don't limit yourself. You don't have to do all of it, it's ok to have help (I say the same to myself but don't follow up on that).
By the way, I also started a one man Dev shop (me) if you ever decide to reach out and get help: developer-service.io
I completely agree with this sentiment! I find it really hard to outsource projects in general. I feel like a single parent when it comes to my projects haha. Almost like I have to be the one to complete it and see it through.
