As a developer, writing is my bottleneck. Built a small tool to fix my own pain.
I’m more comfortable in code than in copy, but as a builder I still have to write:
- Landing pages
- Changelogs
- Onboarding copy
- Emails / DMs
The bottleneck for me wasn’t “what to say”, it was “how to say it clearly without sounding like a robot”.
I got tired of the copy to AI to paste back loop, so I built Rephrazo:
- Highlight text (in a doc, email draft, etc.)
- Hit a hotkey
- Get an AI paraphrase in a small popup
- Insert it back with one click
The idea is to make “rewrite this better” as cheap as auto-formatting code.
