    This was really interesting to read. And I think the same can be said for hiring anyone. It's easier to do when you know their job. When you're hiring someone and you don't really know what they need to do, you can easily make wrong hires.

    Absolutely agree with this, especially in regard to A/B testing. Really wasted a lot of time with that. Interviewing is extremely difficult because you don't know what you don't know, which is why you're hiring in the first place. Very easy to be drawn-in by what the person 'sells'.
