As a remote team: what's important for you to know about the teammates?
I am designing a dashboard for a remote team and looking for the feedback that which information is important to include in teammate widgets.

Not strictly in the emotional sense, could be state such as
pressured,peacefuletc.It s hard to know the emotional state of team mates online. They are free the share it or keep it for themselves, the same way we express emotions in the office environment. I don't like bothering people whj are busy, the simple busy status doesn't tell me what busy means. They might just be on a call and would not be bothered by instant messaging..
This is something I never worried before working remotely and now that I do I hate that I can't see the facial expression like I get crazy mad of 😀 emoji since you can interpret how the f. you want, the worst I found out my self taking decisions based on that which makes me hate it even more, maybe is just me.
Agree. That's why I have included a status section which let teammate pick an emoji and express their mood by asking "What are you up to?"
