For the developers here, do you worry that by focusing on small-scale development that your skills will begin to stagnate? Is this a price you're willing to pay? How do you avoid this?
It's bitten me in the a** before. I've been told I'm not technical enough on interviews because I chose solutions that I could get up and running quickly. like paying a dev $10/hr so I could work on other things. using wufoo.com to collect user data.

This is really solid advice. I like the advice of always using something a little bit different, so you can develop quickly, but making sure to learn things as well.

Do you worry that you're not using these things the "right" way without having code review? My fear is trying to use these skills but using them incorrectly and not knowing it.
