Ask IH: Facebook Groups to get some initial traction for your product
I read several interviews and case studies that they used many facebook groups and other groups for inital marketing and they have got successfully some starting clients from there.
So I would just wanted to know what fb groups you have been a member of or groups you know where you have promoted your product or going to promote?
As in my case it has always been a problem for me as WHenever I post there I got banned due to spamming or something else.
Likewise they have strict rules not to proote your stratup means not to post any direct links.
So with this situation how you spread the news to such groups?

Yeah, some of the Facebook groups have strict rules not promote your startup or self promotion of your own content. The key to generate leads from Facebook groups or any community is to be super active and interact with people and posts. Nobody likes to get spammed with promotions.
Now coming back to question, How to generate leads?
If you are in the relevant group, a lot of time members asks questions related to problem they are facing or asking for the solution/recommendation. If your product is solving their problem that's when you pitch in and talk about your product.
