Ask IH: Feedback on my podcast landing page
Since we began this whole thing of building a business, besides product development and connecting with people, creating content and especially voice content has become a favorite thing to do.
The goals of the page are:
- To introduce us, as well as the podcast and give folks an idea of what they can expect from the format.
- Direct people to other platforms for their convenience of consuming content on their terms.
- Ability to quickly start listening to an episode.

Hey Julian - here you go:
Strong value proposition that resonates - "a show about the ups and downs of building a business from scratch..."
I expected you to guide me on which episode you think I should start with from your list.
I've not heard of Dulo before and had trouble connecting the dots right away what your product was and why you had a podcast. Maybe on the intro copy, you can share a little about why you are doing a podcast (ie. we're fellow entrepreneurs who are building a business from scratch; there are many common pitfalls that early stage companies face...we've faced them all and want to help you avoid them, etc)
With that said, it's certainly piqued my interest because my project (www.tribefive.me) is in a similar phase (aka the early days). Look forward to follow along in your journey!

I think you need to write a few words about yourselves. This might be the only page people have visited on your site and they need to know that it's the founders of Dulo who are going the podcast.
I really like the subscribe CTA buttons. I'm missing Pocket Casts, but that's ok.
I wished the podcast player had a seek bar and maybe even highlights/timestamps with noteworthy parts.
Why aren't all the episodes on the same page? Is it a performance thing?
One thing I miss with all podcasts is I have no way of knowing which episodes are the truly great ones. Maybe you can highlight the most popular one? I also think there's a missed opportunity in not having a highlights episode where you condense a full interview to a few minutes with the juicy bits.

It's crazy how prolific your content game is and how well it works as part of your marketing. I kinda get the feeling that you are great marketers who happen to also run a clothing business (hope that doesn't come off wrong) 👌

This made me smile in a good way:
We had/still have no idea what we are doing, but I guess the only strength we have is that we don't overthink stuff and just try and create different pieces of content on different mediums that we can then test and also learn on the go.
Going back to your feedback, they are all great points!
To summarise your feedback, indeed it makes to think of that page as a separate website, giving all the context about us + really nailing down the most important aspects of a good podcast landing page, such as hand-picked episodes, highlights etc (currently there is a separate page that we plan on including a full transcript or a show notes/essay copy).
I'll take into account all that you said and improve that page!

Yea, have paginated them at the moment. An option is to add infinite scroll, but don't really know whether it would be a better UI.
