In my early days I found a freelancer who was able to deal with regular, yet adhoc requests. It's been around 10 years and he is still with us on a freelance basis. I kinda of got lucky, but I also intentionally chose him because he was the right fit (rather than just being the cheapest).
Also these days, if your budget allows, consider using something like @Vinrob's ManyPixels

In short, table sign that explains how to use the product.
Front Desk uses an Alexa skill to help visitors to an office check in. I need a sign to put next to the Echo that prompts people that may have no prior experience with Front Desk or Alexa to initiate the check in.
My goals are to make it something businesses are happy to put at their front desk, help with brand recognition, and of course get visitors to use it.

Thanks! dribble has come up a couple times, but it hasn't been clear to me how to use it to find a freelancer (maybe I'm just dense). Their hiring product seems like its geared to finding an fte, and I haven't seen any design for the kind of thing I need done.
What is your work flow for finding someone on dribble?
You just email them what you need and see if they are interested.
I am building a platform for finding designers, however, it's in early stages and wouldn't help you at this time.
