Ask IH: How do you issue invoice receipts to your customers?

Just curious to know how do you manage the receipts for your customers? Do you email the receipts to your customers every time they get charged ? Have you every had customers ask you for receipts of past charges?
Paypal.
Stripe.
Paddle.
At howuku.com, we email our customers a receipt every time they get charged. And yes, this just happened to me TODAY that one of my earliest customer asked me for all the past receipts, I just send all of it to him through Stripe dashboard.
Oh okay.But the receipts you email must be different from the ones you had to send through Stripe Dashboard? When you say you email the receipt to your customers every time they get charged, do you get the charge data from Stripe, formulate an email with the receipt and then email it to your customers?
We just enable stripe notification to customer every time we charged them, no special handling or formulation. Just a simple we charged you $20. What’s the problem with doing it through stripe notification?
