Ask IH: How would you grow Nicetweeps?

Hello hackers!

Last week I launched nicetweeps.com as a tool to discover more people on Twitter. Actually it's my own curation from my private list that's turned to be a website. Hundreds of people have visited, and around a dozen people done so regularly.

How would you grow this if you're me?

Some ideas:
- Add a sub-heading to the website that explains what it is
- Add new categories. Yours are quite narrow at the moment. Try adding categories for popular verticals that aren't programming related.
- You could pair the above with an input that asks "What are you interested in?" and then have it auto-generate the thought leaders to follow in whatever the user types in.
- Invite Twitter users to list themselves as an "expert" on a Tweep List for a subject
- Have a click to follow widget next to each person on a list so that the user doesn't need to open multiple tabs or leave your website

It's a fantastic execution. Strong move using this dark theme. Apparently your website is also being shared on my recent post. Really like it!

I'm curious what other filters you can add in order to make the sort and filter feature more exciting?

  For VentureList, I suggest you to play with different color, weight, and size to emphasize and de-emphasize some copies there. Currently it’s hard to read.
