Ask IH - Recommendations for Wordpress themes for technical blog ?

I am working on a side project (http://techmango.org/) where a friend and I are trying to write articles on what we learn on our day-day work. The intention behind this project is

• Contributing back to the world if we learn anything hard way from our day-day work
• More polished notes which we can refer later
• learn blogging techniques
• Maybe some passive income in future

I am struggling to find a better Wordpress theme for this technical blog which at least has good editor and support for writing code blocks.

I am also ready to buy a paid theme given it meets the criteria.
