I have some questions for the IH community. We are currently building out a next-gen CRM and are struggling with what our big market differentiator will be. We are currently looking at being the "fast modern" CRM, but we don't think that will be enough.
With that said, here are the questions we are fielding answers for:
I've found email activity tracking to still be lacking in CRM. I use Mixmax heavily, and I'd love for a CRM to automatically track every inbound/outbound email associated with a contact in the CRM.
Of course this concept exists in some CRMs, but it's clunky, and in many other cases you're daisy chaining a few solutions together.
Hey I feel like this is something I can answer on. I've tried all sort of CRMs(Hubspot, Close, Pipedrive, Copper, etc) and I just can't find something that works for me. This is for The Match Artist where we sell very high end photography packages to single men. We are currently on Hubspot and it just isn't working as well as I would like it to work.
Our biggest problem is that we collect all sorts of information from our clients, and it's so hard to get this info into our CRM. We have a few typeforms that we send to our clients, and it's damn near impossible to get our clients responses into our CRM.
The main problem is that Hubspot(and all other CRMs) wants all of the info to fit neatly into their fields. Well this just isn't practical when we are sending our clients questionnaires with 50-100 questions. Even if I had the time to create all of these fields and then do it all again in the integration, it still is extremely hard to look at all of this data in a concise manner.
What I think would be cool is the concept of a "Document CRM". I would hook up my Typeform or other software and it would create documents, or something that is easily readable and doesn't take hours to map fields too.
As the owner of a high ticket item, and high touch sales process I fell majorly underserved by the exiting CRMs. I feel like all of the CRMs are focused on low touch sales, and are hugely automation heavy.
This could be a great underserved niche.
Would you mind if I dig into this with you further and see if I can come up with a solution for you? I think I could build what you are asking into Charge CRM and could offer it to you at no cost.
For me:
Next-gen CRM? Well, it should show all tasks that AM should do in a given day, I mean all, one by one in a specific order. Just do it and go home if you wish, work is done and the boss is happy!
OK, so automation sounds like the general theme you are looking for. Great to hear!
