Currently I'm thinking about my own app. Being at the idea stage, it's extremely hard to streamline all the directions. But recently I run into the outline of adtech app development .
As I understand, such apps have become a common occurrence in the marketing world and are now booming.
I deeply need your advice. Is it a good idea to go into ad tech?
Will it appeal to the market?
"AdTech" is a very broad definition. A lot of great but VERY DIFFERENT SaaS products could be qualified as "advertising technology" or "marketing technology", but they have nothing else in common.
E.g. a simple app dealing with social media tracking and responding would be just using APIs of sites like Twitter, but a massive CRM product would be times more complex to develop and support. Both could be classified "adtech" but are very different projects in terms of scale and complexity.
So yeah, please narrow down what your plan is. "Adtech" is surely a great buzzword but it'd be best to focus on solving a need your future customers have.
Thanks for the answer. Actually I dived into emerging adtech trends. And I've found that the usage of machine learning will be very beneficial in terms of content. I mean it's possible to use ML to create taxonomies of all their company’s content, summarizing and tagging it to facilitate better search results through content management systems, improving metadata etc.
