Ask IH: What WP hosting service is good? And how much?

I was thinking of creating a really cool Wordpress service on top of K8s, and I’m just wondering what would people pay per month ?

There are tons of options, in a variety of pricing range.

The most popular managed services are - (in no particular order)
    Kinsta
    WP Engine
    Pressable
    Flywheel
    Pantheon

A couple of days ago there was an IH interview with Anchor -

Then you have all the shared/lower-end ones -
    SiteGround
    BlueHost
    GoDaddy
    DreamHost
    etc. etc.

Never heard about them before, but it's a good read

WPEngine is good for Wordpress site. If you have high budget or you handle corporate site, then you can just go with them. If you only host small site, then you can find other providers. I personally use Asphostportal. Instead host blog with them, my main site using ASP.NET. That's why I choose their service.

    Im happy with WinHost
But I'm an IIS/C#/ASP/.NET and MS-SQL kind of guy.
Also happy using BlueHost, I have lots of business/ecomemrce sites hosted there under my main account.

Feel free to give WP Bubble ( https://wpbubble.com ) a try for WordPress Managed Hosting. It's not your traditional web host like those listed below (or above?), but it's a custom built web host I built for myself and my clients. Basically gives you some space on a dedicated server, sandboxes your environment, unlimited visits and bandwidth, automated backups, one-click restore, and website clones, automated server updates and wp-core, plugin, theme updates, etc. Pricing is based on the resources your website needs, not the account itself. For example, if you only need a static website, you should probably be paying less than someone who needs a website running WooCommerce or Event Espresso.
