Hey guys
I currently use Javascript/Node at my day job and I really wish there was an equivalent of Laracasts, Gorails, Alchemist Camp etc in the JS community.
Most tutorials on Udemy (and similar sites) are aimed at beginners and/or they can be very long winded. I would pay monthly for concise, intermediate to advanced, weekly tutorials.
I'm wondering if anyone here thinks the same? :)
Cheers!
Did you check out https://egghead.io/?
Yeah Egghead is great!
I guess what I have in mind is something pretty similar, except just focused on Node and more tailored towards using Node in production.
With all these platforms there must be a market but I don’t know, maybe it’s just me who thinks this way.
I think it's a good idea, I would like to see more advanced and real world implementations, since even most advanced tutorials are just theoretical and they don't show you how it works in actual apps.
Yeah I think the same! What technologies are you interested in?
I personnaly get high quality tutorial from Medium Daily Digest and it's free ^^
Yeah I have found one or two tutorials to be pretty good on Medium, especially when I need to solve a very specific problem.
However, there's never any guarantee with quality on there though. I guess that's to be expected with a free platform after all.
