Ask Indie Hackers: What's your marketing stack?

I know the sexy thing to talk about is tech stack, but I'm curious: What's your marketing stack?

My free marketing tools and technics:

    1. Twitter and Indie Hackers - Write about your specialty, updates, achievements, how you help people with your product. Be active in the community.
    2. Product Hunt Launches - launch initially and each version bump.
    3. Create a Free Gumroad Product - collect emails and send your updates and useful stuff as a newsletter.

Ahhh, Gumroad is a unique marketing tactic. I know I made a free Notion template on Gumroad a while ago that continues to bring in leads. I should lean into this channel a little more. Thanks for the idea :)

How is your experience with Lemlist? Would you recommend it?

Have only used it for around a week so far. So far it's OK, and I get the impression that pretty much most of the cold-email software are identical in price/functionality.

I tried Woodpecker originally, but I found the app super laggy/buggy and quit just out of frustration with using the app.

    1. Twitter (23k followers @grepmeded)
    2. IG (26k followers @grepmed) - much harder to get off the IG platform

We used to rely on social media initially for our traffic but now it's a small fraction of our traffic. It does help us network with some very prominent medical educators across the country.

We have over 10k users on our email list but just haven't found the bandwidth to send more than a welcome email... I need to get over my fear of spamming people.
