Asked my mentor (a VC) what she thinks about Indie Hackers! 😬

I asked one of my mentors, Elaine, who does Venture Capital at SignalFire, what she thought about Indie Hackers.

Surprisingly or not, her face lit up and she said, "first off, I love Indie Hackers!"

She went on to give a really thorough explanation of her perspective on who should take venture capital and why.

"Venture Capital, by nature, we have to take huge bets. I need you, as the founder, to swing for the fences."

Later in the podcast, she also explained general expectations in terms of revenue potential, "$100M ARR" and what it means to "return the fund."

I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'll ever try to raise VC for MentorPass, but right now we're not.
