Atlas is only applicable for countries where Stripe is not supported.

I am from India, and I need to charge 18% GST for any Online Transaction. If I open a company using Stripe Atlas, can I choose to not collect that?

When visiting the Stripe Atlas (https://stripe.com/atlas) page I came across this text - "Trusted by entrepreneurs in more than 140 countries
From New York to New Delhi, thousands of people have started their businesses with Stripe Atlas."

But here is what Stripe Support says - "Atlas is only applicable for countries where Stripe is not supported."

Can someone please explain this?
