Hello Indie Hackers,
I hope you had a productive week so far!
I recently got to 147$ MRR with my startup Affistash and although I am really happy with it, I started thinking about ways to leverage my marketing, since I think that the methods that I am using right now aren't really anything sustainable in the long run, at least without a big budget. (I mostly used Reddit, TikTok, Youtube)
My goal would be to get more people that are interested in affiliate/referral marketing to sign up on the platform. So I thought that podcasts would be a great way to attract eyeballs to my product, and hopefully get more signups.
Think about it, it's usually only 1-2 hours, and you can reach a huge audience if you manage to get on the right podcasts.
This is something that I consider to be a pretty important factor. It all depends on how comfortable your feel participating to something like this. I also think that if you have an interesting backstory it will make it even more interesting.
In my case, being a 16 year old entrepreneur and founder of 2 profitable software companies, an agency, a marketplace, and now a SaaS, I hope this will make it easier for me to get on some pretty interesting podcasts to tell my story :D
Cheers ✌️
I believe that attending podcasts can help you get more trust in your community and get exposure + grow your audience. So i do not really see any problems with it, well besides being in the spotlight:D
Couldn't agree more Adrian! Good thing I like to be in the spotlight sometimes xD
