Attracting like-minded people
I recently found Indie Hackers, read some posts and bookmarked the site right away. I find it a bottomless source of wisdom for people who tries to make something useful for the world.
This is my very first post here and I'll try to make it to the point so I'm not wasting anyone's time.
There are people amongst us who has ideas, there are people who has technical skills needed to get the idea moving (like me), there are experienced marketers. And there are plenty of people who can bring value in all kinds of ways.
The topic I would like to bring on to discuss is how do those people meet? How does a talented marketer find someone with just the right idea in the right time? How does a software developer connect with someone who has the knowledge needed to keep something alive?
Please share your opinions.

I'm a software engineer (and I absolutely love getting technical). I currently work as a software engineer in a Czech-based company called Dotykačka (a POS system). My goal is to create my own product as soon as possible and quit the dayjob. The only problem (yes, the same problem everyone faces) is that I don't know what to build and I don't know many like-minded people who would share the same passions and had qualities required for running a business from zero. I also know I will build something big one day. It's just a matter of when and whom with.
Usually, meetups are a great way to find people. Not only live events but also a sort of remote meetups should work.
I've been thinking a lot about this as well. There are so many moving parts to stuff like this. My suggestions is post a lot talking about your specific goals, and how you want to live your life. Also, make sure you engage with a lot of people. I think this is more of a numbers game, and the more you post and engage, the more people with a similar mindset and complimentary skillset will find you. Also go to any networking events you can for different skillsets. Hope that helps.
