Hi IH's,
I am launching a new app soon. My primary competitor is meetup. Or you can say I am the primary competitor :)
Someone suggested me this tagine:
"I got the advice to make the payoff more solution state oriented (what great feeling are you going to give your customers).
Here is a stab at it:
Around - Event & Community Management "Have all your fans one click away"
What is your opinion on this one? Should I use it, or do you have more mind-boggling ideas?
Interesting.
"Plan events with ease, so you can enjoy them in peace."
"We killed the "Event Manager" job title - sorry."
Hey @AmyWilliamson,
Currently, it's hard to assess what this product does from the landing page, which makes coming up with a tagline difficult.
That said here are some guidelines to follow:
Taglines ≠ Website headings (most of the time) website headings are more descriptive, taglines are more ethereal and vision oriented
Aim your tagline at invoking the feeling you want your user to have or the vision you have for the world
Keep it under 5 syllables if you can :)
I like it. Go for it.
I think the one you have works.
Here are a couple more options:
"Easily organize your offline community and events"
"Managing an offline community?
It just got easier."
I also like @jkchu's idea of highlighting whatever feature differentiates your service.
I feel like "fans" isn't the right noun after looking at your landing page. I personally like your existing hero text a lot more. Maybe you could update your existing text by replacing "with ease" with a your most valuable feature (if you have one)?
Anyways, best of luck with your launch, your landing page looks solid!
Is the only customer people with a fan base or are there also more community like events like Meetup? If the product’s only customer is people with a fan base, then it’s good.
You are right @melinda99 , it's more like meetup. What would you write if its your product?
