Auto Blogging App. Validate?

Hey everyone, I am considering making an app that will automatically generate blog content for people. It will scrape the internet for trending topics, and generate articles on them and upload it. Basically replaces a blog author's job. Is it a good idea?

Don't do it. That's exactly what will make your blog plummet in google searches, a part from violating several TOS, copyrights and, ultimately, good practices.

You're adding a worse noise to a lot of noise already there. Please stop flooding the web with bad content, there's a ton already out there and picking from that to create another Frankenstein's monster of content is BAD.

    Please.

How would it violate copyrights? Its purely AI generated though, hence its not stealing anyone's work. The only time it takes something from someone else, is the headline. That is purely for knowing what topic is trending.

for example, which topics would you generate?

Most likely, its gonna be news headlines, it will scrape the internet for trending headlines, and then generates articles on it.

I would pay for it if -

    • the content is coherent
    • it's SEO optimized
    • It adds value to the reader.

I've tried almost all AI text generating tools out there and I've faced problems in all these criteria.
They are good to get ideas and beat writer's block.

But they are nowhere near replacing blog authors.

Also, you should also ask this question in the blogger's group on IH, and the r/blogging subreddit.
I'm sure you'll get some interesting answers there.

        Nice.

I would still say, before building anything, make sure to validate the idea on larger forums of actual users.

Will do! Thanks :) Could you give some examples of larger forums that I could use for validating?

            checkout a couple of subreddits:
            r/blogging
            r/freelancewriters

Also checkout some FB groups around blogging and writing.

You can also join the FB group run by conversion.ai team. You will have to buy their subscription to join I think. But there are many bloggers and writers who use their long form generator to write blog posts. They are your ideal customers.
